These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Cellarful. You must be 18 or over, and you own what you add. There is zero tolerance for offensive content and abusive users. Premium renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account, and AI answers are guidance rather than guarantees. You accept these terms when you create an account.
1. Who we are
Cellarful is provided by Loehde Hansen ApS, a Danish company with CVR number 37693774. You can reach us at [email protected].
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cellarful, because it is about wine and alcohol.
2. The app licence (EULA)
If you download Cellarful from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement gives you the licence to use the app. These terms cover everything else, including your account, your content, Premium and the service behind the app. If the two conflict about the licence to the app itself, Apple’s agreement applies. In all other cases these terms apply.
3. Your account
- Give correct information and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Each person can have one account, and accounts can’t be sold or transferred.
- You can delete your account at any time under More → Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.
4. Zero tolerance for offensive content and abusive users
There is no tolerance for offensive content or abusive users. You may not share photos, notes, comments or anything else that is illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual or otherwise offensive. You may not impersonate others or share other people’s personal information without their consent.
- You can report content and block users directly in the app.
- We review reports within 24 hours.
- We remove content that breaks these rules and close the accounts behind it, without notice and without refund.
5. Your content
You own what you add, including photos, notes, ratings and comments. Only share content you have the right to share.
So that Cellarful can work, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt, display and distribute your content in Cellarful, and to use it to run, improve and develop the service. Adapting means things like cropping or compressing a photo or turning it into a digital label. We may pass this licence on to the companies that process data for us, but only for that purpose. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, with the exceptions below.
- Wine facts such as name, producer, vintage and region, along with anonymous prices and average ratings, may be added to the shared wine catalogue and the price index, and we may merge duplicates. These stay after you delete your account, with no link to you.
- Your personal content is deleted when you delete your account. Backups are overwritten within 7 days, and copies other people have already received, such as a notification, may remain for a short while.
- We only use your photos, notes or reviews in marketing outside the app, such as our website, social media or the App Store, if you have said yes first.
- When you use an AI feature, the content it needs is sent to our AI provider Anthropic only to deliver that feature. Anthropic may not use it to train its models.
This licence covers copyright. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, and the two texts say the same thing.
6. Sharing and social features
You decide what you share. Your privacy settings control what your followers can see, including your discoveries and activity. Blind tastings are visible to the people taking part. You are responsible for what you choose to share.
7. Using Cellarful fairly
Cellarful is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing. Don’t get around security or usage limits, and don’t try to access other people’s data. Don’t scrape or copy data automatically or use Cellarful to build a competing service. Don’t misuse the AI features, for example to generate content that has nothing to do with wine, and don’t copy, decompile or redistribute the app. If you misuse the AI features, for example by automating requests, trying to get around usage limits or using them for anything other than wine, we can limit your access to them or close your account.
8. Premium
Cellarful is free to use. Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks more features and costs €6.99 a month or €59.99 a year (49 kr. or 449 kr. in Denmark). The App Store shows the price in your local currency before you buy, and that is the price that applies. Current prices are also on our pricing page.
- New subscribers get a 14-day free trial, and Apple decides who is eligible. You get one trial per person, so deleting your account and signing up again does not give you a new one.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and Apple charges your Apple account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. If you don’t cancel during the trial, the first paid period starts when the trial ends.
- You manage or cancel the subscription in your iPhone’s Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Cellarful account does not cancel it.
- Apple handles payments and refunds for App Store purchases. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, but we can’t issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
- When you start Premium, you ask for it to begin straight away, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once you use it. Apple’s refund rules still apply.
- When Premium ends, your wines and notes stay, and Premium features lock until you subscribe again.
- Apple tells you before a price change takes effect and asks you to agree where the law requires it.
9. AI is guidance
The sommelier’s answers, label scans, drinking windows and insights come from a language model and can be wrong. We don’t guarantee that a wine is ready to drink, is worth a certain amount or tastes as described. Use your own judgement, especially about storage and when to open a bottle.
10. Our rights
The app’s design, code, logo and the name Cellarful belong to us or our licensors. We may use any feedback you send us freely.
11. Liability
Cellarful is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or losses caused by downtime, AI suggestions or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under Danish law, for example for intent or gross negligence, and nothing limits your rights as a consumer.
12. Ending the agreement
- You can end the agreement at any time by deleting your account. Remember to cancel Premium in your Apple account too.
- We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, as section 4 describes for offensive content.
- If we close Cellarful, we give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data first.
13. Changes
We may change these terms if Cellarful or the law changes. The current version is always on this page with the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new terms before you continue.
14. Law and disputes
Danish law applies. If we can’t resolve a disagreement together, the Danish courts decide it. As a consumer you can also complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board through Nævnenes Hus, and you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
