What Cellarful can do

Scan the label

Point the camera at the label, and Cellarful fills in producer, wine, vintage, grape, country and region. A frame on screen shows where to hold the bottle, and only what's inside it is read. You can also pick a photo from your camera roll or type the wine in yourself.

Switch the camera to Several wines when you have a whole shelf to add. Each photo joins a queue that's read in the background while you keep going, and nothing is saved until you've checked the list.

Free with 5 scans a month, and Several wines counts towards them. Premium has no limit. Typing a wine in yourself is always free.

Every bottle in detail

Each wine has its own card with bottles left and bought, price per bottle, total paid, bottle size, alcohol, where and when you bought it, and whether it was a gift. You rate it from 1 to 5 by filling a wine glass, and add your own note. When you open, share or give away a bottle, it goes in the wine's history. A wine without a photo gets a digital label instead.

Your wine fridge, slot by slot

Build your wine fridge or cellar in the app with its shelves and slots, and place each bottle where it actually sits. Search for a wine and see its slot before you open the door. Bottles without a place are listed on their own, so none of them get lost.

Stock count

Count what's really on the shelf and correct many wines in one go. You can note why a number changed and on which date.

Cellar value and statistics

See what you've paid, what the cellar is worth and how it's spread across types, countries and grapes. A small trend line shows how the collection has grown, and one tap hides the amount when someone is looking over your shoulder.

Price index

When other users have bought the same wine, Cellarful shows whether you paid more or less than they did. With Premium you get the full list across your cellar, so you can see where you bought well.

Bring your list from Vivino, CellarTracker, Wine-Searcher or a spreadsheet. Cellarful recognises their files and matches the columns for you.

Drinking windows

Each bottle is marked too young, drink now, drink soon or drink up, and the home screen shows how many are ready. The overview sorts the whole cellar by phase, so you can see what to open this month and what can wait.

On Free you set the window yourself. With Premium, the sommelier calculates it for new wines and fills in the ones that are missing.

Forecast

See how your cellar changes at the pace you drink and buy. The forecast looks 6 or 12 months ahead, shows when you'll reach milestones such as 200 bottles, and tells you if the cellar is heading for empty. You can adjust the pace if your habits are about to change.

Compare before you open

Put two or more bottles side by side, and the sommelier compares them for you. It explains what sets them apart and which one to open first, based on their drinking windows and the rest of your cellar.

A sommelier who knows your cellar

Ask what to open with dinner, which order to serve a few bottles in, or what suits an occasion. The answer comes from the wines you own and where each one is in its window. You can start from suggested questions or your own shortcuts, and earlier conversations are saved. Answers are marked as AI and are guidance rather than guarantees.

Your taste

Rate what you drink from 1 to 5. With Premium, once you've rated 10 wines, Cellarful shows which countries, grapes and types score highest with you, and which words keep coming back in your notes on the best ones. The sommelier reads your ratings and notes, writes your taste profile and suggests what to try next.

Discover, when you're out

At a restaurant, in a shop or at a friend's table, scan the label and see if the wine suits your taste, whether you already have it and what your friends thought of it. The wine is saved in Discoveries, not in your cellar, and you can move it over if you buy it.

Blind tastings

Everyone brings a bottle. Round by round you guess type, country, region, grape and vintage, and the price range if the owner allows it. A locked guess scores double but costs you if it misses, and when only one person hasn't answered, a two-minute countdown starts. Cellarful keeps the score and the leaderboard, and guests join with a code or a link.

Tastings with notes

For a regular tasting, everyone writes a note in four steps inspired by WSET, from appearance and nose to palate and conclusion. You see each other's ratings as you go. Afterwards your notes are saved on your own wines, and guests can keep a wine they liked in their own cellar.

Friends and the feed

Follow friends and see what they add, open and rate. Like and comment on their bottles, and find people through search or a QR code. With a hidden profile, nobody can find you through search, and only followers you approve see your collection. The value of your cellar is never shown to anyone else.
